What's Happening to Your Paint?

Even after a thorough wash, microscopic iron particles from brake dust and industrial fallout become embedded in your paintwork. On white and light-coloured cars these can appear as tiny rust-coloured spots. Tar from road surfaces also bonds to the lower panels over time. Neither can be removed by washing alone.

Iron Fallout Removal

Bilt Hamber Korrosol is sprayed over the paintwork — it reacts chemically with iron particles, turning purple as it dissolves them. This colour change shows exactly what's being removed from your paint.

Tar Spot Removal

A dedicated tar remover is applied to affected areas — typically the lower panels and rear of the vehicle — safely dissolving bonded road tar without any abrasive contact.

Rinse Off

Both products are thoroughly rinsed away, leaving the paintwork clean and free of surface contamination.

Travel Policy: Mobile service is included within Solihull and up to 5 miles from our location. For locations beyond 5 miles, a small travel fee applies:

  • 5-10 miles: £5
  • 10-15 miles: £10
  • 15-20 miles: £15
  • Beyond 20 miles: £20

Service duration varies depending on the package and your vehicle's condition. A Basic Exterior Valet typically takes 1-2 hours, while a full Standard Valet (Interior + Exterior) can take 2-4 hours. We'll provide you with a more accurate timeframe when you book your appointment.

We recommend removing any personal belongings and valuables from your vehicle before our arrival. This allows us to clean all areas thoroughly without having to move your items. If you're getting an interior service, clearing out trash and large items will help us focus on the detailing process.

We accept cash, card payments, and bank transfers. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the service.

In case of severe weather conditions that would affect the quality of our service, we'll contact you to reschedule your appointment. Light rain may not impact interior-only services, but we'll always discuss options with you if weather becomes an issue.

For optimal results, we recommend a full detail every 3-4 months, with maintenance washes in between. However, this can vary based on your driving conditions, vehicle usage, and personal preferences. We're happy to recommend a maintenance schedule tailored to your specific needs.
